Aims and Objectives

Tai Ceredigion has been set up with the vision to be “a first class bilingual landlord and employer that puts tenants first, provides quality homes and benefits communities and the local economy”.  

Tai Ceredigion will be able to invest in tenants homes and can, with confidence, bring homes up to the Welsh Housing Quality Standard and ensure that tenants receive high quality services.

Tai Ceredigion will consult with our tenants on introducing improvements such as a repairs appointment service.

Tai Ceredigion are also keen to ensure that there are wider economic advantages for the local economy in terms of creating job opportunities through training and apprenticeship schemes. This would mean that the planned £40 million of investment would both bring much needed improvements to tenants homes as well as giving a boost to the economic future of communities within Ceredigion.

Over the next 5 years, Tai Ceredigion will bring tenants homes up to the Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS) by investing £40 million in the first five years, and £136 million over thirty years to maintain them at that standard.
